Robin
Robin is at the epicenter of Charlotte Laser Dental. She is our patient care coordinator. She is very family oriented which shows in how helpful she is to our patients as well as our staff. Robin is extremely knowledgeable with insurance related matters. She spends countless numbers of hours online and on the phone with insurance companies trying to assist our patients with any and all insurance questions they may have. She is the first warm and caring face you see when you enter our office and the last to say "have a wonderful day" when you leave.
Chelsie
Chelsie is our newest team member. She is our all-around versatile team member. Chelsie handles incoming phone calls, verifies patient insurances, and even assists Dr. McMurtry chairside for restorative procedures or infant tongue-tie procedures.
Heather
Heather, our head dental assistant, has been with our practice since 2008. She is from Charlotte, having grown up very close to the office. Heather has over 15 years experience in patient care, making her one of the most knowledgeable staff members in Charlotte. She is very enthusiastic about new and cutting edge ideas in dentistry. Her other interests including maintaining a high level of physical fitness as well as spending time with her family and friends. Heather brings a vibrant attitude to the office on a daily basis!
Lee
Lee, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, has been with the practice since 2006. She attended the Dental Hygiene program at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, SC. Lee has practiced in the Charlotte area over 10 years. She is extremely talented with educating patients and aiding them in developing a specific homecare program that best fits their personal needs. She enjoys being involved in the Speed World Racing Challenge Series with team Tindol Motorsports. Lee is also very active in caring for stray animals, and she volunteers her time with the various local animal rescue organizations. Lee is looking forward to sharing her knowledge of new advances in dentistry with her patients.
Tessie
Tessie is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. She joyfully joined our team full time in 2008. A 1994 graduate of UNC - Chapel Hill, she is a Tarheel extremist. She has practiced in the Charlotte area for over 15 years and loves the improvements and advances in dentistry that she has encountered. Tessie enjoys the relationships developed with patients through patient care and education. She loves attending continuing education courses and sharing the information with her patients. Tessie is an avid animal lover and spends much of her time caring for and helping find homes for strays. She also volunteers her free time coaching USAV Junior volleyball programs. She is a member of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association's Volleyball officials for this area. Tessie is extremely happy to be serving the members of this community on a professional as well as personal level.
